City Manager, Michael Harris and Account Manager Audrey Mays deposited the city's first check on Monday, July 17, 2017, immediately after the Stonecrest mayor and council voted to use BB&T for the city's banking services.

This week marked the launch of the Stonecrest website, LinkedIn and Twitter pages. Also major updates were made to the city's FaceBook page.
The week culminated with a city hall visit from Rosalind Jackson, who became the city’s first business license applicant.

Bernard Knight, a land use and development attorney and clients Daniel and Jim Kelly, arrived at city hall Monday morning. The trio requested permits for a business expansion.
In an adjacent area, movers and office furniture assemblers constructed office cubicles while information technology experts installed the necessary computer and office support equipment.
