We’re making progress at Panola Shoals Trailhead along the South River!
Recent storms changed the river’s conditions, requiring a full redesign to make the area stronger, safer, and more resilient for years to come.
Our engineering team is finalizing design options to protect the riverbank and nearby trail from future flooding. Once permits are approved, construction will resume, delivering a beautiful and lasting recreational space for the Stonecrest community to enjoy.
We appreciate everyone’s patience as we take the time to do this right. Great things are coming to Panola Shoals!
