Controlled blasting operations at the I-285/I-20 west interchange will cause brief traffic delays, with traffic pacing occurring Monday through Thursday until summer 2025.
Traffic pacing will affect I-285 southbound, particularly the ramp to I-20 eastbound, and may last up to 20 minutes
During this time, motorists should expect brief delays while traveling the corridor and are encouraged to use their preferred navigation app for alternate routes. Law enforcement will be in place to assist with traffic control during the pacing. Residents may experience brief periods of increased construction noise for the blasting.
