The Georgia Department of Transportation (Georgia DOT) announces a planned partial closure of DeKalb Medical Parkway at Hillandale Drive in Stonecrest.
The closure will support the realignment of Fairington Road including the construction of the new bridge over I-20 and a new signalized four-way intersection between DeKalb Medical Pkwy. and Hillandale Dr.
Weather permitting, the partial closure will begin Friday, April 25, 9 p.m. and continue through Monday, April 28, 5 a.m.
A section of DeKalb Medical Pkwy. will be temporarily closed just north of the intersection of Hillandale Dr. During the partial closure and detour, motorists may use Hillandale Dr., Panola Rd. and Snapfinger Woods Dr. to access nearby businesses and residential communities. A detour route will be signed and marked. The northern entrance to Emory-Hillandale hospital will remain open.
