The Georgia Department of Transportation (Georgia DOT) will detour traffic on Miller Rd. over Interstate-20 as part of the I-285 / I-20 East Interchange project.
The purpose of this offsite detour is to accelerate the replacement of the existing bridge with a larger structure to accommodate the additional lane on I-20.
The bridge closure and detour are expected to last approximately 8 months, weather permitting.
Motorists are urged to use caution along the detour routes.
