Overview
The Charter Commission shall review the City’s experience and recommend to the Georgia General Assembly any changes to the City Charter. The Charter Commission shall complete recommendations within a time frame required by the City Council.
Charter Commission members shall be appointed as follows:
- One by the mayor
- One by each member of the city council
- One appointed by a vote of members of the Georgia House of Representatives
- One voted by the members of the Georgia Senate whose districts lie wholly or partially within the corporate boundaries of the City of Stonecrest
All members shall reside in the City of Stonecrest except those representing the Georgia House of Representatives and the Georgia Senate.
