The phone number is 770-224-0210, but email communication is preferred. Send an email to the Municipal Court with your full name, complete mailing address, and your case number if possible.

If you have an attorney representing you, your request for a reset needs to be made through your attorney.

First Appearance or Arraignment

One courtesy reset will be granted upon request. Understand that we will attempt to schedule your new court date within 30 to 60 days of the original court date. We will need to confirm your current contact information and update any changes prior to granting the reset request. If your contact information changes again in the future, please remember to update your contact information with the court, in writing.

After the First Appearance or a Continued Arraignment

A reset will be granted if you provide medical documentation.

Once again in most circumstances, we will attempt to schedule your new court date within 30 to 60 days of your assigned court date. We will need to confirm your current contact information and update any changes prior to granting the reset request. If your contact information changes again in the future, please remember to update your contact information with the court, in writing.

If you fail to appear for the reset court date or any other court date that may be scheduled, you will be subject to arrest and assessment of fees and court costs.

We are happy to give written excuses to take to work or school for any court appearance!
